Vaibhav Arekar
Vaibhav Arekar is a dancer with a passion for performance while inquiring into one’s own language of expression. A disciple of Guru Smt. Saroja Srinath, also went to the Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya. A holistic approach to dance and the basics of Kathak received from Smt Rajashree Shirke has further defined Mr Arekar’s dance. He has also trained in theatre under Shri Chetan Datar. His theatre background reflects in his performances. He extends his practice of movement by experimenting with new concepts and narratives. He has performed at various prestigious venues & festivals - Khajurao, SNA’s Nritya-Sangam, Kala Ghoda Festival, Prithvi Theatre Anniversary Festival (25 years), and Modhera Festival amongst others.
