Considering their outstanding contribution in the field of Kathak Dance the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi has awarded them the prestigious “Akademi Puraskar”. Maulik and Ishira have been designated by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). The Central Production Center (CPC), New Delhi, has recorded their production "Roopmati Baz Bahadur" for a nationwide telecast.They have performed in more than 40 countries They are recipients of many prestigious awards such as the ‘Gaurav Puruskaar,' among many others. A young, passionate and motivated individual, Jaimil Joshi is the powerhouse of talent who has mastered the art of portraying his soul on stage. For many years he has been an established dancer, fashion choreographer, line producer and creative director, juggling multiple roles with the true flair of a performer. He believes that “Dance is something which can tell so many things with just a gesture.” For him, this art form is a power that is unmatchable. The thought of his performances is beyond the experiences of the mundane life, striving to expose the reality within which we reside. Jaimil is a dedicated and creative soul with a unique eye to spot talent. He believes that there are wonderful dancers and dance forms that are yet to be explored and as a curator of Abhivyakti Edition 4, he aims to bring something revolutionary for the city to witness and experience. Her initial training was under late Shri Dharamshibhai Shah from Bhavnagar.
