Daksha Sheth, has a reputation as one of India's most exciting and progressive dance artists. Trained in Kathak by Padma Bhushan Mrs Kumudini Lakhia, in Mayurbhanj Chhau by Guru Shri Krishnachandra Naik and in Kalaripayattu by Guru Govindankutty Nair, Daksha has turned to indigenous traditions including mallakhambh as a foundation for her choreographic expression and for evolving a training methodology for the dancers of her dance company, based in Trivandrum Kerala. Drawing on the wealth of these traditions, Daksha has developed a strongly physical and vibrant dance language and has created works which has placed her at the cutting edge of contemporary Indian dance. Daksha Sheth Dance Company has performed in more than 30 countries around the world.

His college life spanning over a decade has played a pivotal role in shaping his artistic journey. During his college days, Jaimil explored the nuances of life and art, imbibed fresh perspectives, and learned novel techniques that helped him evolve as an artist. To Jaimil, dance is more than just movement; it is his obsession. His two productions with Abhivyakti, 'Life in a Closet' and 'Psychedelic Journey,' boldly tackled taboo topics on stage and aimed to challenge stereotypes. His art is a result of his meticulous observations, research, and personal involvement with the society around him. Jaimil's performances are an ode to the magic of movement, the power of expression, and the beauty of the human form. Jaimil seeks to showcase lesser-known dance forms, bringing them to the forefront of the artistic landscape through Abhivyakti Edition 5 as a curator. Her journey has taken her through the intricate art of Bharatnatyam, and the fluid grace of Kathak, but it is her willingness to embrace new experiences and art forms that have enabled her to evolve as an artist. For her exposure to diverse experiences and art forms is crucial to personal development, enabling one to adopt diverse perspectives. She weaves her internal journey into her performances and syncs it with her soul and personal life to convey a compelling story to the audience. Passionate about her art form, she believes in being open and receptive to new ideas and as an assistant curator of Abhivyakti Edition 5, she aims to bring unexplored classical dance forms to the people.
