The tradition of puppetry has evolved in India as a method of entertainment. The first puppets in the country were made possibly as long ago as 1000 B.C. Puppets tell the story of the culture in which they have been designed. This puppet show goes back to the roots of puppetry –storytelling. Through a variety of puppets, this performance tells the story of the foolish king – a king who is in pursuit of his kingdom’s worst enemy. The story is told through colour shadow puppets, rod puppets, and other forms of puppetry.
