His induction to Abhivyakti Edition 2 comes in the form of his concept ‘Swamy’s Sound Studio’ a story he read years ago, about a sound artist, unable to cope with loss of hearing, who ultimately committed suicide. The story revolves around the very struggle of a sound artist, who works around the clock, identifying minutest sounds for his projects. With ears trained to pick up even the fall of a hairpin, this Foley artist struggles with the harsh, amplified sounds of the real world. His super sensitivity to sound is also fantastically woven into how his family has to cope with his stressful condition.
