Suvani Suri

Suvani is a Delhi-based artist who has been a component of several trans-disciplinary practices, alternating between the roles of an artist, assembler, designer, researcher, sound producer and educator. She is preoccupied with the diverse peculiarities of the technological and sociopolitical processes that listening is embedded in, and the spectral qualities of sound that reveal certain slippages and gaps.

The idea of revolutionary sounds is what Suvani is looking to explore. Revolution refers to something which causes a significant change in the social order. Revolutions could be social, economic or technological. Accompanied by her friend Shiraz Iqbal, Suvani wants to explore this idea and present it as a mixed-media installation using images, objects and sound.
