Having practised dentistry for a year, Siddhartha knew that this wasn’t his calling. A man who learnt to paint before writing craves a career which includes creativity and imagination. Hence, Siddhartha left dentistry and went to CEPT, where he did his master’s in art design communication. He is now a professional painter who creates incredible pieces with acrylics, graphite and charcoal.
Contemplating the idea of how speech has lost its freedom in today’s world, Siddhartha has brought a painting rightfully titled as ‘Hush’. Hush is a gigantic installation of 60×6 feet which includes drawings, as well as texts from ancient literature and poems that will document how we, as a society have been oppressed and deprived the right to speak freely.
