Anurag is a practising visual artist from Tripura, where he received his Bachelors in Visual Arts from Govt. College of Art and Craft. He is currently working at a studio in Vadodara while exploring the domain of gallery practice and freelancing. His artworks concentrate on nature and surroundings. Scavenging new medium and material is his passion which always helps in his creations.
For Abhivyakti, rather than a pre-painted piece, Anurag will be creating his project during the festival which is titled ‘Pose to expose’. By creating multiple chalk outlines of himself (similar to those on a dead body), he will create an abstract piece which will symbolise the omnipresence of death and murder in our society.
