It is work that deals with a very regular subject. It speaks of a journey that takes place within one’s mind due to the changes that one undergoes in the decade they are born in, of the socio-political scenario and of personal emotions. ‘Land Of Chaos’, as the name slightly hints, is about a group of people belonging to different decades- in this work, the 90s and the current time – who are stuck in the thought of whether or not is it the right thing to do by making space within oneself for adaptability and acceptance.

A group of people from different decades, together, showcase a path of how one exists in a very wrong belief of their time being simpler and the current generation is messed up due to the dominance of the digital age and social media. The performers through Kathak’s form of dance, poetry and music, create a ‘land’ which is ‘chaotic’ and ‘full of a dilemma’.

This work brings along with it a question and a search. Will their question be answered? Should their search have an end?

All the answers lay in the journey of the performers as they create, destroy and mend their Land Of Chaos.
