Both Debolina and Ronak have individually come up in their fields as strong artists. While Debolina deviated from her legacy of classical music to be drawn more towards western music, particularly Jazz, Ronak, a trained Sarod player, found himself taking a sin route.

Their paths converged at Abhivyakti Edition 2, when their concepts about Jazz and Indian music were found by the curators to be two sides of the same coin- with one complementing the other. Hence they combined their acts to bring forth a unique 2-part Indo-Jazz Fusion Project. Debolina describes the piece to be in 2 parts, viz One where Jazz will be the base and other where Ragas will be the base. By using traditional classical instruments like Tabla & Sarangi, combined with Jazz instruments like keyboard and the electric guitar, both Ronak and Debolina will bring forth a side of music not seen in by Ahmedabad’s audiences.
