Koral Adenwala

Koral’s experience as a creative and a design strategist has played a crucial role in shaping her a fledging visual artist. She moved to visual arts about 2 years ago, retaining all that she has learned through out her journey, and draws much inspiration from her pursuits.

Rote
For Abhivyakti Edition 2 she calls her concept Rote, which means mechanical repetition. In she describes in her words “an exploration of movement in English, through letters & colors”. Rote questions the stereotype ways of representing letters, where in ‘A’ may not stand for apple at all, but could mean something else entirely!
By using visual art installation, and also something that she calls an immersive installation, Koral’s work will not just engage audiences, it will also give them a chance to interact and experience with her concept directly. Viewers can expect to see a lot of movement, patterns and colors, and also a hint of expressions from her experience in dance and design. “It’s a completely hand made piece of work” she adds, “and it will certainly change the way we perceive the English alphabets”.
